Everton captain Seamus Coleman says manager Sean Dyche has helped revitalise the club.

Coleman addressed fans after their final home game of the season for victory against Sheffield United.

I'm just so proud to be a part of the group," Coleman told evertontv. People from the outside can look at that, and go, 'You're proud of that because what? You finished 17th in the league'. But this group has been tested and other characters wouldn't have stood up and kept fighting.

I'm proud of the lads, I'm proud of the manager and I'm proud of all these supporters.

Anyone who has been involved with Everton Football Club for as long as I have knows it's not the end of the table we want to be fighting at.

But through things out of the players' hands and the supporters' hands, I'm so proud to be a part of this football club. I'm so proud of those supporters; how they've stuck by us, and how they've got us over the line when things were tough.

The togetherness from fans to players this year has been evident, and I think the manager has got to take some credit for that, too.

The gaffer's been great, the gaffer's brought a bit of Everton back. And like I touched on, some of the players have been fabulous."
